The performance thief and how it can be stopped.

Pain, fear or even worry can cause more or less for the voice to stick in the throat or at least make it sound strained. Terror can rob one of one’s voice completely.
Anyone who has learned to pay a little attention to it, can easily distinguish changes in mood or attitude by changes in the voice of the speaker. I was taught to use this as part of the diagnosis of a client. For more than twenty years I would use my own voice as a way to diagnose how close to my own center I was.
Genuine belly voices always have volume and depth.
Resonant Performer technique works with the energetics of the whole of the body so that there are no anxieties or worries that will work against having a volume, depth or seemingly easy rendition. The “space” of the performer/vocalist is profoundly peaceful and reassured. what is most often said to me is “I cannot wait to go on stage feeling like this.”
Generally, pre-performance nerves have an energy of rising. there is hypertension, the pulse races as the stomach churns. Some people even throw up. the energy is going to wrong way. Resonant Performer technique is able to reverse one energetically. So as to, connect one with their self/body and environment. When this connection is strongest it is often referred to as charisma. There is a clearly defined sense of a performer’s/vocalist’s presence on stage as well as a clear powerful resonant voice that has a real sense of ease.
